As I've mentioned on this blog, A Better Life, Every Day, and on Productivity in Context, I use a pocket-sized, ruled Moleskine to capture all of my thoughts, ideas, Next Actions, MITs, notes, etc. This works well for me because I like the fact that it is small enough to take everywhere with me. I know that some people prefer the larger Moleskines, while others use a combination of the two.
If you use a Moleskine, or any other capture tool, what size (pocket, large extra large) is it? And why did you choose that size?
Kris, thank you for finding my blog, and commenting. I use OneNote extensively at work on my Tablet PC. It has proven to be invaluable. Nothing like sitting in a meeting and being able to bring up notes from a meeting that happened weeks or months earlier. This has saved me quite a few times this already.

I use a Circa Letter for personal stuff and a Circa Junior for work. Complete that Holy Trio with OutLook and OneNote for work, and Gmail and OneNote for home, and I'm good to go!
It was nice finding your blog - hope to interact more with you soon!

I have always carried the Large size Moleskines. I prefer the squared paper so that I can draw out and columnize in any way that I need to. I also use Squared Cahiers for different areas of my life.

I have a standard sized Moleskin that I take with me if I think I'll need to write something down. I've been using OmniFocus and have been very pleased with how well it works as a capture tool. Particularly because I can click and send an email into it's inbox. I can also send myself an email from my blackberry and have it put in the OmniFocus inbox. I don't use that much for myself, but it is very convenient for sending tasks to my assistant.
